quotes good points. I'm certainly not espousing Pantera for all videos. I actually like the genre of this song and agree a mainstream song is needed for the vid. to appeal to a mainstream audience. I just happen to find these particular vocals grating enough to detract from the riding, which seemed polar in comparison. @crazy..., I will check some other stuff out - I've heard that he's mypod-worthy.

quotes phenomenal riding as usual - would've been good to see a few outtakes too! The only thing missing was watching someone smash that f'ing song to bits with a large hammer - the most annoying sounds ever associated with great riding.

quotes on Duffman, right before it merges with Freight Train

quotes I was just about to send you a note asking if you've had a chance to build it up yet. Fck - what a spec, right down to the red ano pivots and my favourite NRG pedals! What do you think of the Fox 180? Are those the Opium or Iodine wheels? Amazing from front to back, looks a lot better without those cheap Intense stickers. Makes my Knolly look like a caveman bike LOL. Do you bash the lower link at all with the Hammerschmidt being so high?

quotes I used to assume all Kona's little kiddie-hater hype must have been based on at least some truth...until I started riding Whistler, which has Kona as the 'official' park bike. A few days of watching the kids smash the shit out of their rented Stinkys with cased jumps, riderless landings where the frame hits a tree, and repeated failed attempts to make it down Goat's Gully...and then the same bike gets a simple wash and rented again the next day for a repeat butchery has made me a believer in Kona. For every 10 old Stinkys still functioning on the trails, show me just one 2005 Demo that is still in great shape, or an '09 Session with an undented down tube. Konas are ugly but they work well, and last. Little kiddies see an broken '02 Coiler so they assume all Konas break and jump on the hate wagon. Of course, FR/DH bikes aren't meant to be last that long in the first place - Konas are one of the few brands that are able to get handed down like old clothes, so of course they'll eventually break...but you can't complain a bike brand is shit becuase of 8 years of metal fatigue from novice after novice.

quotes beautiful frame - that's a DHX 4 shock though, not an RC4.

quotes haha thanks bullit-dan...I got it now - someone just needed to tell me 'look up', as I was only looking at the linkage on the chainstay LOL.
Treebasher commented under brule's blog ( Jul 22, 2010 at 13:48 )
quotes does the chainstay also pivot around the rocker linkage? It appears so, so I assume this isn't a single pivot at all.
Treebasher commented under brule's blog ( Jul 22, 2010 at 13:11 )
quotes Are you sure about the 'single pivot crap' grandmastere? In the 2nd and 3rd pics, it appears that the chainstays are attached to a link that rotates around the BB - the shock is attached to this link, not the chainstay...thus making it NOT a single pivot. However, these CAD drawings may be misleading, so perhaps my interpretation is incorrect, but I'm on a limb and suggesting you're wrong. However, I did laugh at your 'purple' and 'steeze' comments - very true!

quotes Lee - you seem to have all the details - why is there such a large differential in USD vs CAD prices - the DH bikes have a 14-16% differential whereas the recent, current, and projected actual dollar difference is only 3%. I live 5 minutes away from the Norco office, but it's cheaper for me to drive to Seattle to pick up an A-Line. Is this due to sourcing (and duty costs)and importing of the US components on the bike? This seems a little strange if so, since Norco imports the components into Canada, assembles the bike and ships back over to the US... Other local CA brands don't seem to have the same markup.
